I have been playing too much Gears of War
Yeah. It's horrible. Play much too much Gears of War. In fact I can't think of doing anything else now... except for playing some of that sweet, sweet gears of war...
oh!
Such excellent visuals.
Such splendid sound.
Such lovely game mechanics.
If anything. I love the tactility of Gears. It's incredibly visceral, from the gut wrenching crunches of the chainsaw on bone, the sound of kneecaps, ribcages being taken out by well timed melee hits... it's like a meal for the senses.
So in recent news. Hardcore mode is hard. Especially on single player. I have died one too many times.

Woah! Long time no post. Actually it's been a year! How time flies!
More disconcerting is how much has changed! So where does Colin find himself now? (hopefully not going crazy because I just adressed myself in the third person just then.)
Well, for starters:
* He is now second year Media/Communications student at the University of Sydney
* He is still single. Which isn't causing him that much grief.
* He is an Elvis band! and did a gig with that awesome funk band that was formed with his bros in highschool: DELI FUNK .
* He is also going to take this opportunity to tell you that you can watch some videos of his band on youtube... CLONK HERE!!!
* He's doing kendo. (I hear the ladies dig guys with spiritual awareness of body and mind... not to mention buff arms and upper torso ;))
* He has been hosting radio programmes. (USYD FM 90.9 and I'll be doing training and eventually hosting breakfast on 2CCRFM 90.5)
* He has been working. (Winston Pride Michael! ;))
So I guess that's whats been happening in a nutshell. Really tedious, kinda sketchy account of activities. To try and condense ALL my experiences (which may prove to be abstract in the blog form, may be quite difficult
Hopefully there will be more posts in the future, hopefully jam packed with analysis, which I reckon they should include in xangas and blogs I've been reading of late. They're interesting (and I'm really sincere in saying this), but for a blog to be really compelling for me, they have personal insights, analysis and sometimes random thoughts (like in David Kang's xanga) as opposed to straight out narrative (today I did this and then I ate this and had this etc etc). But hey, don't get me wrong, I like reading Jonathan Miu's posts about chat/crap days and Matt Kang's lover letters to easyway and jimmy's kebabs, but as they say: variety is the spice of life! Add more analysis in! Keep in mind tis just a suggestion, I won't stop reading your xangas/blogs because you fail to meet my stringent standards ;) and yes I did say 'tis'.
Any hoo! take it easy guys! ;) Thanks for reading. Hopefully I'll make this a regular habit. Or not. We'll see!
Also I've been listening to a lot of Tower of Power. Great band! Lot's of Old School Groovy RnB and Funk. A listen would definitely be recommended, give me a buzz on msn if you want some tracks ;).
